HOME

Southpoint Plantation is a privately owned and privately managed plantation spanning over 3000 acres in the heart of Terrell County, Georgia. Mr. Wallace Crawford, owner of Southpoint Plantation, bids you welcome to his ancestral home. The land called Southpoint was originally deeded to his great great GREAT grandfather, Eli G. Hill, by the governor of Georgia for his efforts in the Creek Indian Wars. The home Mr. Crawford presently lives in with his family was built in 1826, and is the oldest standing structure in Terrell County. Southpoint, originally called Woodland, Georgia, began as a thriving farm plantation boasting some 50 sharecropper houses, homes to the many faithful workers of the plantation.

The tradition and heritage of quail hunting on Southpoint dates back to the very early 1900's, and still today that tradition continues for the enjoyment of avid hunters like you. We invite you to take advantage of our Southern hospitality, from the thrill of the hunt to the old fashioned home cooked meals, or the view from the front porch of your private cabin in the woods.
